The skin on our face is thinner and more sensitive, especially around the nose and cheeks. With shallowly vascularized skin, the veins under the skin are more visible than in other areas. Individual skin care plays an important role in improving the condition and appearance of the skin, it also affects the strengthening of its structures. We've gathered for you a handful of important information on vascular skin care, along with some effective tips, the application of which can help you customize your skin care routine.

How do you recognize vascular skin?

Vascular skin is not a disease and is not acquired with age. Vascular skin is delicate and thin, and as a result, fine veins are more visible than in healthy skin, creating so-called "spider veins" on the skin and a bruising effect under the eyes. In addition, the vessels are simply much more fragile than in normal, dry or oily skin. Under the influence of temperature fluctuations and emotions, blood vessels "relax" and then return to their original form. In the case of skin prone to "spider veins," the vessels do not shrink completely, resulting in facial redness. Fortunately, this defect can be minimized by appropriate skin care and cosmetic treatments.

What are cracked capillaries?

Cracked capillaries are dilated or enlarged blood vessels located just below the surface of the skin.

What causes broken capillaries?

In the main, the propensity to develop blood vessels is genetic. Most often, light-skinned people whose relatives have struggled with the problem of vascular skin are also prone to the formation of so-called "spider veins." The main reason for the formation of visible blood vessels is the effect of external factors on the skin, such as the action of strong, cold winds, large temperature fluctuations, smoking and alcohol consumption, UV radiation, trauma. In some cases, even a sneeze can result in the bursting of a capillary and the appearance of a "red spider" on the skin.

How to prevent the formation of blood vessels?

Remember that broken capillaries usually do not cause hypersensitivity of the skin to the touch, but they can make the skin more sensitive to environmental factors. Cosmetics for vascular skin and proper skin care are key elements that affect the condition of the skin. Here are some tips that, if applied, can bring noticeable results:

  1. Avoid overexposure to UV radiation. Use creams with a high SPF factor every day, all year round.
  2. Wash your face with gentle cosmetics for sensitive skin, rinse the resulting foam with lukewarm water - never hot or cold.
  3. Protect your face from the wind on cold days.
  4. Use cosmetic kits for vascular skin, rich in gentle active ingredients, such as arnica extract and panthenol.

Prevention is key in this case, as damaged blood vessels can no longer be repaired. The only way to improve their appearance is to use special laser treatments.

Reddened skin, dilated blood vessels, bruises and puffiness are a common problem that many people face on a daily basis. ARNICA® Arnica Gel perfectly cares for the skin, reduces hypersensitivity and improves the condition of the skin. After using the cosmetic, the skin becomes calmed, and with regular application the appearance of erythema is reduced, and micro-damage is regenerated.

Excellent action is provided by a combination of active ingredients:

arnica extract - promotes blood circulation, strengthens the walls of blood vessels, reducing their permeability and the risk of swelling and dark circles. In combination with sunscreen, it is a good way to protect the skin from vascular problems.

Panthenol - is rapidly absorbed into the skin, where it changes into pantothenic acid, which binds water. It improves skin hydration and stimulates the growth of new epidermal cells.

Studies** have confirmed the effect of ARNICA® Arnica Gel:

  • leaves a soft cooling sensation after application;
  • reduces the appearance of redness and dilated blood vessels;
  • applied in the morning to the eye area, it delays the appearance of symptoms of fatigue;
  • applied in the evening - has a soothing, relieving effect ,
  • reduces the appearance of dark circles under the eyes;
  • improves skin hydration, making it tighter, less prone to swelling of the so-called "bags";
  • properly cares for vascular skin - provides relief and prevents the aggravation of symptoms: redness, the visibility of bruising.

In addition, in the opinion of a dermatologist , ARNICA® Arnica Gel can be recommended for people prone to swelling of the eyelids and skin under the eyes.

Our product can also be used as a soothing gel for lips, for bruises after hyaluronic acid lip filling procedure

Arnica gel is recommended for bruises on the lips caused after hyaluronic acid lip injections. During such injection procedures, the needle may encounter a blood vessel and breach it, causing blood to leak into the tissues. This manifests as bruising around the lips, prolonging recovery time after filling them with hyaluronic acid (also encountered after treatments with PRP and various mesococktails). Arnica gel for lips, applied twice a day after hyaluronic acid lip augmentation, contributes to faster disappearance of bruising. It reduces swelling around the lips and soothes the skin. It has an anti-inflammatory effect, which is insanely important in the period right after the procedure. It also has a moisturizing effect, which is in line with the increased need to moisturize lips in the period following the injection and administration of hyaluronic acid to the lips.

**Application study conducted under dermatological control on 50 subjects aged 20-65 years.
