What is combination skin?

This type of skin involves two or more types of skin on the face, the condition of which may vary depending on the season, the state of health or the phase of the menstrual cycle. Combination skin is characterised by dry, flaky skin on the cheeks and excessive sebum production and shine on other areas of the face. The most problematic area is the T-zone, comprising the forehead, nose and chin, where skin imperfections, enlarged pores and blackheads most frequently appear.
